More than 300 lawmakers in 35 states have signed an amicus brief for submission to the US Supreme Court, arguing that the 1973 Roe v Wade case which legalized abortion before viability is unconstitutional, Just the News reports. Prepared by University of Michigan Law school graduate Jacob Weaver, the brief further argues that abortion laws are a matter for individual states to decide.

Report: North Korea officials may be committing genocide against Christians
A UK Parliamentary group reported last week that government officials in North Korea have been murdering Christians and other people groups at a rate that may amount to genocide, the Washington Examiner reports. The UK’s All-Party Parliamentary Group on North Korea (APPG) said its report is based on evidence of atrocities committed by North Korean officials against various people groups, including Christians, from 2014 to 2021.
China persecution: Government authorities raid online church service
As China’s Communist Party (CCP) regime continues its policy of “Sinicizing” the church, on July 11 government security officials raided a Guangdong province church as its leaders preached an online service through Zoom, International Christian Concern reports. China ranks 17 on the US Open Doors Watch List of top 50 countries where Christians are persecuted.
